Rich and indulgent, this no-bake fudge is perfect for festive treats or gifting.
Makes: approx. 16 pieces
Prep: 15 minutes + 2 hours chilling
Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate, broken up
- 100g hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
- 50g coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 4 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt flakes
Method
- Melt the chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil over a pan of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Add the rest: Stir in the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix well.
- Add the hazelnuts: Fold in the chopped hazelnuts, reserving a few for topping.
- Set the fudge: Line a square baking tin with parchment paper and pour the mixture in, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the reserved hazelnuts on top.
- Chill: Place the tin in the fridge for at least 2 hours until firm. Once set, cut into squares.
