Looking for a healthy and satisfying snack? Try these homemade nut and seed crackes paired with creamy hummus and fresh vegetable sticks. These crackers are packed with a variety of seeds and crunchy goodness which means they are perfect for dipping and snacking on throughout the day.
Ingredients:
- 100g sunflower seeds
- 100g pumpkin seeds
- 50g sesame seeds
- 50g chia seeds
- 50g flaxseeds
- 2 tbsp almond flour
- 100g rice flour
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp dried herbs/spices of your choice - oregano, cumin, fennel
- 240ml warm water
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F, Gas Mark 2).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the seeds, almond flour, sea salt, and herbs.
- Spread the mixture evenly on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula to spread it as thinly as possible. You can place another piece of parchment over the top and use a rolling pin to roll out evenly.
- Remove the parchment paper, then score the dough with a knife to create cracker shapes.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the crackers are dry and crisp.
- Let the crackers cool completely before breaking them into pieces along the scored lines.
- Store in an airtight container.

Method:
- Place the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil in a food processor.
- Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. - Serve in a bowl, drizzled with a bit more olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika or cumin if desired.

- Wash and cut the vegetables into bite-sized pieces
- Arrange them on a platter alongside the hummus and crackers for serving
