Ingredients:
- 150g ground almonds
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 5 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, for topping
Method
- Heat to 180°C (160°C fan, Gas Mark 4). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a bowl, combine the ground almonds, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and chia seeds.
- Stir in the tahini, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until a thick dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls, place them on the baking tray, and flatten slightly with a fork. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool completely before serving.
